PULSE Contemporary Art Fair is pleased to announce its Miami Beach focus and the launch of PULSE360. In 2017 PULSE will discontinue the New York fair and focus on the Miami Beach edition as well as a series of year-round programming, titled PULSE360. As an established part of the global art calendar, PULSE Miami Beach provides its visitors with a comprehensive overview of the ever-evolving contemporary art market. In three short years, under the leadership of Director Helen Toomer, PULSE Miami Beach has become a vibrant platform for international galleries, has significantly expanded its audience and has become a cultural hub. PULSE looks forward to continuing to grow its community in Miami Beach where the fair will be hosted next year from Thursday, December 7 through Sunday, December 10, 2017.
In 2015, PULSE began producing experiences for audiences outside of the fair in New York and Miami Beach by hosting thought-provoking talks and exciting events. From conversations surrounding women in the industry to dance-parties, PULSE has become ever-present in the art world amplifying new voices, introducing up-and-coming talent and connecting industry leadership for meaningful dialogue. These successful endeavors led to the formation of PULSE360, a new series of year-round programing launching in 2017 for a select community of members who are actively engaged and interested in the dialogue surrounding the intersection of art, culture and commerce. Membership is by invitation only and includes VIP access to PULSE Miami Beach, exclusive invitations to intimate events hosted by PULSE and its partner organizations, plus year round perks and insider information offered by our collaborators.
“PULSE Miami Beach has developed a reach that goes beyond the straightforward marketplace. We have witnessed the impact of ongoing connectivity and how much it enriches the fair going experience. We are excited about the chance to nurture and expand our wonderful community of exhibitors, artists and collectors and I look forward to creating program that fosters a greater appreciation for the power of art,” explains Director Helen Toomer.
